Product Information

This is the game that introduced gamers to Clyde "The Glide," Michael Jordan's baseline reverse, Sir Charles' gorilla slam, and of course, Tom Chambers dunking from the three-point line. This was the first 5-on-5 basketball game where you could actually tell the difference between the players on the court, not only by the graphics (and short shorts), but by the special moves that changed the way we played videogame hoops. And while there were only eight selectable teams and modes were limited to Exhibition and Playoffs, Lakers vs. Celtics' gameplay continues to live on in our minds, as we can still picture Barkley taking off from the free throw line and throwing it down with two hands.
