Nintendo and Square Enix combine forces to bring Nintendo DS gamers MARIO HOOPS 3 ON 3, a fun basketball game with an unique Mario flavor. The game features interesting controls, a number of different options, and, of course, many of players� favorite Mario characters. In MARIO HOOPS 3 ON 3, players control a team of three characters in a basketball game against three others. The characters include Mario, Luigi, Toad, Princess Peach, Bowser, Yoshi, and more. Of course, being a Mario game, it�s not just normal basketball. Instead, question boxes on the court provide players with coins, and the more coins a player has, the more points they can score when they make a basket. Steals are also possible, and players can even power-up their shots or steal attempts to make them more powerful. MARIO HOOPS 3 ON 3 uses the stylus and touch screen for just about everything. Players use the stylus to open the question boxes, to dribble left or right, to dodge steals, and more. Also, the game features a number of mini-games. These mini-games can be played against any DS player, while basketball games can only be played against another player with the game. MARIO HOOPS 3 ON 3, just like all of Mario�s other adventures, takes a classic game and turns it on its head. It�s a great basketball game with that special Mario flare that makes it more than just a sports challenge, and both basketball fans and Mario�s followers will love it.
